My Crypto Amigo was started by Aaron Zitzer, a product marketing and management executive. He developed a passion for personal finance and investing while leading the product team for Yahoo! Finance.
Aaron caught the crypto bug in 2013. He was impressed by the technology, the potential applications and the investment opportunities. In 2014 he bought his first Bitcoin.
He began working as a technology marketing consultant in 2016. It was while consulting that he was introduced to Storj. Storj is a leading provider of distributed cloud storage and has a utility token, STORJ, that’s used to pay its node operators. Storj became a client and in 2023, Aaron accepted a position to lead product marketing.
Aaron started My Crypto Amigo to help anyone that’s interested in cryptocurrencies. His goal is to provide explanations and insights that anyone can understand without the technical jargon and hype that appear in so many ‘crypto news’ sources.
